With Soap Operas and Superheros, The CW Has Found It’s Niche

The CW has redefined itself with the Arrowverse, and has once again renewed all of the shows under it’s umbrella

The renewals of Superhero TV shows from the network are: Black Lightning and Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and I include Supernatural in there as well.

The renewals of the Soap Operas are: Dynasty, Jane the Virgin, and Riverdale

It’s noted by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fans that the show will end with season 4 after next year giving it a final conclusion.

Generally speaking everyone seems happy with the results of these renewals, we will see what becomes of iZombie, military drama Valor, and one of their more high profile TV series The 100. Which were all missing from the announcement. Now of course this means that these shows could still come out a winner, for The CW and with the network moving from five nights to six nights of TV. They have a lot of room in the schedule for the remainders to fight it out over the course of the next couple of months during the Upfronts.
