American Steel!!!!! Trump is ripping his policies directly from a fictional novel from the 1950s. From the conservative pop culture perspective, if there even is such a thing, it sounds good, but it isn’t and no one including conservatives are happy about Trump’s latest policies sponsored by Atlas Shrugged.
To protect our Country we must protect American Steel! #AMERICA FIRST

Regardless of what you may think of this policy, or any of his other policies that are also set in the 1950s, one thing has to be made clear here: The world trading system, the education system, the EPA, the justice department, the executive branch, the state department, the social programs, the healthcare system, are all in the hands of people who don’t know how it works, when it was built, how it was built, who built it, why they built it, and what the alternatives to that system were and are.
They also wage propaganda against those media outlets, scientific institutions, or intelligence systems who try to teach them what these systems are and how they work, but since Trump allies also don’t know when they were built, how they were built, who built it, and for what purpose they exist, there alternatives to those systems are terrible.
Oh yeah and military generals basically have the US government under a military coup and the Presidency is now nothing but a figurehead and useful idiot for the GOP to try to get their own cockamamie ideas passed.
If this is the conservative utopia Trump supporters dreamed about, it’s all really, really, really dumb but as Atlas continues to shrug in the era of Trump, the Republicans are showing a sign of annoyance. Perhaps this tariff thing was not such a great idea after all. Especially since Trump doesn’t use American Steel for his own buildings, they have ties to questionable institutions, and the fact that every single industry is mad at Trump for doing this.
